Your visit will include:

Education

This is more than just a day out in the countryside. This is a chance for your children to approach each aspect of Estate and Farm life through a broad based curriculum approach, which brings to life the outdoor classroom.

Information

The children will learn how and who manages our woodlands, estate and farms. What are the tools they use and just what that produces for us all. What is wheat? What is it used for? How do you plant it? How do you harvest it? How do trees grow? How do you cut them down? What do you do with them? These and many more questions will be answered by the people who actually do the job, giving your children an unrivalled first hand account of the British counryside and farming in the 21st Century.

Inspiration

By the end of the day, you and your children will be inspired by the men, women and machines that make our countryside work for us. This day will hopefully inspire a life long understanding and appreciation for the most important natural resource we have.
